With an approximate length of 3.6 kilometres, this project represents a major milestone in the development of Paraguay’s road infrastructure, standing as the country's longest urban viaduct. The new structure consists of two carriageways, each with two traffic lanes, significantly increasing road capacity and improving traffic flow.
The viaduct provides a direct connection between Ñu Guasú and Silvio Pettirossi avenues, two of the main access routes to the metropolitan area. This strategic intervention enhances urban connectivity, reduces travel times and promotes more efficient and sustainable mobility, benefiting thousands of users every day.
ConstruGomes plays a key role in the execution of this project, being responsible for the handling and installation of formwork and reinforcement, as well as the concreting and finishing works of the viaduct's substructure and superstructure.
As part of the project, ConstruGomes also developed the BL-45 beam launcher, equipment specifically designed to ensure high levels of efficiency, precision and safety during structural assembly. This system is used to launch more than 450 beams and the precast slabs that make up the bridge deck superstructure, optimising the construction process while ensuring the highest standards of quality.
This project reflects ConstruGomes' commitment to innovation, technical excellence and the development of engineering solutions capable of meeting the challenges of large-scale infrastructure projects, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the execution of highly complex works.
